The South African Weather Service issued a yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain along the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

Extremely cold conditions, with light snow, are expected over the north-eastern mountainous areas of the Eastern Cape in the morning. 

The weather in your region:

Gauteng will be partly cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

It will be cold in the extreme south.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

It will be cloudy in the east of Mpumalanga and over the southern Highveld.

The province will be partly cloudy and cold to cool, with scattered showers and thundershowers.

It will be warm in the eastern Lowveld.

The central parts of Limpopo will be cool, with partly cloudy and warm to hot conditions in the Limpopo Valley. 

Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected over the central and south-east from the afternoon. 

Partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions will prevail in the North West, with isolated showers and thundershowers over the eastern and central parts.

It will be cloudy in the east of the Free State, becoming partly cloudy and cold to cool in the rest of the province.

Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected, except over the south-western parts.

Fine and cool to warm conditions will prevail in the Northern Cape, with cold temperatures in the west and south.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

Initially, it will be partly cloudy in parts of the south and north-east of the Western Cape. Other parts of the province will be fine and cold to cool. 

It will become partly cloudy along the south-west coast from the evening.

The wind along the west coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly, otherwise moderate westerly to north-westerly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.

Cloudy and cold conditions are expected in the Eastern Cape, with isolated showers and rain at first.

Overall, the province will be partly cloudy and cold to cool.

Light snow is expected over the north-eastern mountainous areas in the early morning.

The wind along the west coast will be moderate westerly to north-westerly.

The wind along the east coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Morning fog will occur over the KwaZulu-Natal interior.
