Tourism In South Africa

The global tourism sector has for the past 10 years outperformed the global economic growth. This a clear demonstration that the tourism sector is made up of economic activities that contribute to three high-priority objectives of developing countries: the generation of income, employment, and foreign-exchange earnings. Lerato Mbele speaks to Tshifiwa Tshivhengwa, CEO of the Tourism Business Council about tourism and the South African economy.
